Dr. Thomas Svensson, Program Manager of Swedish International Development Agency (SIDA) and an official of the Embassy of Sweden visited Institute of Ethnology and Anthropology Chinese Academy of Social Sciences in the afternoon of August 25, 2011. The purpose of this visit is to follow up status of the cooperation project which supported by SIDA “Assessing ethnic dispersions in well-being and poverty - applications to People’s Republic of China”. This project is applied by the Department of Economic and Social Development in our institute and Gothenburg University, it will last for three years (2011-2013). The Party Secretary Zhang Chang-dong, Director Long Yuan-wei, Liu Xiao-min and Ding Sai attended the meeting.
